Looking for Writers . . .
Creaturescape is looking for a few new writers.  Here are our needs.  See the bottom of the page for more details.

BOOK REVIEWER:  Fiction and non-fiction in relevant genre subjects.  One time submissions or regular column.

FICTION WRITERS:  We will be adding a fiction section in May 2007.  Short stories between 1000 and 3000 words (approximately); horror, sci-fi or fantasy genres.  No gratuitous sex or violence.

GAMING FIGURE WRITERS:  We would like to add articles on painting and building gaming figures.  Our primary interest is monsters, of course.

MODEL BUILD UP WRITERS:  We would like to add articles on painting and building gaming figures.  Our primary interest is monsters, of course.

WRITER'S GUIDELINES:

Publication on the CreatureScape site is open to modelers AND freelance writers interested in horror, sci-fi, fantasy and paleo subjects.  Here are the basics:

  • Pitch your idea to CreatureScape or send a copy of your work as a MS word file attachment via email to [email protected] with a DESCRIPTIVE SUBJECT LINE

  • 14 point, Ariel font preferred.  GRAMMAR, MECHANICS, and PARAGRAPHING count a lot.  No need to be formal . . . just minimize the editing process for the best chance at acceptance.

  • Send a picture of the finished product if you are writing a model article, but wait to hear from us before sending more.

  • Pictures should be no more than 1000 pixel width.

  • There is no payment for your work and will will remain on the site indefinitely.

There is no compensation financially, but you do get a byline and regular columnists will get their own page.

We look forward to seeing your work and hearing your ideas.
