CreatureScape Sponsors Virginia Creepers, a documentary on the horror host history of Virginia
June 08: Given that we are located in the Old Dominion ourselves, it makes perfect sense that CreatureScape is backing this film . . . (insert wicked laugh here).
The movie, which will be a full length feature film charting out Virginia's 50 year history of horror hosting includes legends like Count Gore De Vol, the Bowman Body and Dr. Madblood. It has great hosts like the Keeper, Ronald, Dr. Sludge and Mr. Slime, and Witch Hazel. But it is more than a history lesson. The movie is full of interviews with personalities dating back to the 1950s, and is chocked full of clips and stills thought lost. More importantly, it gets down to why we love hosts and just what happened to local TV as well as takes a look at the future with hosts Dr. Sarcofiguy and Karlos Borloff and even syndicated shows like Cinema Insomnia.
The Big Promotion:

Right now, the film can be pre-ordered on DVD and all pre-orders will be eligible for a prize package from CreatureScape with will include a really cool build up and a few unbuilt kits . . . at least that is what we think right now. Just check back in a few weeks and we will have all the details.
